MIFIA Concludes the 140th Canton Fair with a Silver Award at the Canton Fair Design Award and a Broader Line-up for ODM Partners
Guangzhou, China — MIFIA is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of its participation in the 140th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), held in Guangzhou from 31 October to 4 November 2026 at booth 11.3 G01–02, F47–48.
During the fair, MIFIA welcomed buyers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers and industry partners from around the world. The team is grateful for every visitor's support, trust, and feedback, and for the conversations that will shape the next round of product development.
The most significant moment of the exhibition came when MIFIA received a Silver Award at the Canton Fair Design Award (CF Award). "This is a tremendous encouragement for our team," the company said. "It tells us that the direction we have taken is right. We will keep working hard, keep innovating, and invest further in our product development so that we can bring better products to partners in every market."
Four Core Ranges on Display
Alongside the newer lines, MIFIA's four core ranges remained at the centre of the booth, serving school, office, retail chain and promotional markets.
Folder Series: Envelope folders, display books, elastic folders and ring binders for efficient, durable filing.
Book Cover Series: PP, PVC, and adhesive covers to protect and reuse everyday books.
Zipper Pouch Series: A much wider range than before, including softer materials for study, office, home and travel.
EVA Mesh Bag Series: Waterproof, durable and reusable bags for daily use and promotional programmes.
Zipper Pouches: The Category That Grew Most
The zipper pouch range was one of the most-discussed areas of the booth. It has expanded substantially in size, shape and construction, and it now covers far more than school stationery.
Soft materials make pouches comfortable to carry and gentle on their contents, and the format works across study, office, home and travel — organising pens, cables, cosmetics, documents or small everyday items. Consumers are increasingly turning to pouches as a general storage tool.
The material range is what allows the category to keep growing. Different materials, patterns and finishes let a buyer build a coordinated range rather than a single item — an area where MIFIA's development work is particularly active.
New ART Portfolio for Art Materials and Large Formats
MIFIA introduced its new ART Portfolio at the fair: a range designed specifically for storing art materials and artwork. It is available in A4, A3 and A2 formats, so students and artists can keep drawings, sketchbooks and larger sheets in one system.
Large-format work has always been awkward to store — too big for a standard folder, too fragile to leave loose. The ART Portfolio is sized around the paper artists actually use, with formats that run from A4 to A2.
Hole Series Extended with Silicone
The Hole series returned to the fair with many new silicone products. Silicone adds a softer hand-feel and a wider range of shapes and styles, giving buyers an alternative alongside the existing formats.
The idea behind the series remains personalization: products that users can decorate and make their own. The new silicone pieces carry that idea into new materials, shapes and price positions.
OEM, ODM and the Road Ahead
MIFIA has long supported partners with OEM production. The Silver Award underlines the value of going further: developing original designs, testing new materials and building ranges around real customer needs.
In the coming period, MIFIA will invest more in ODM — market-oriented product development, customization and original design for private-label and promotional programmes — while continuing to deliver the OEM production partners rely on. "We will keep innovating," the company added. "The award is an encouragement, but the work is only beginning."
